LORRAINE DORRINGTON ACA FCCA CTA

Professional

Lorraine qualified in 1994 as an Chartered Certified Accountant and after moving into IT within an accountancy firm, she returned to study taxation and qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2000.  She has over 20 years professional experience working for private individuals, the self-employed, partnerships, SME’s and large companies both locally and worldwide

Lorraine is skilled in the use of many accounting software packages and especially enjoys helping clients to improve their accounting and bookkeeping systems and also training clients to use accounting software packages as well as dealing with the complexities of taxation.

Personal

Away from the office Lorraine is kept busy and fit running round after two boisterous boys.  Also, she enjoys going to the theatre and socialising with friends and family. She is also a football enthusiast and supports both Bristol Teams.

BERNADETTE LAWTON (Bernie)

Professional

Bernie joined Margaret in 2000 as a secretary.  She is the very friendly front-desk face of the company and is usually the person you will speak to first when contacting us. Bernie is very much a people person and enjoys meeting and greeting clients to the company.

Bernie is also responsible for the company’s Payroll Services. She particularly enjoys working closely with clients to ensure that their payroll requirements are fulfilled

Personal

Outside of work Bernie greatly enjoys travel and socialising with family and friends. She plays skittles, loves reading and swimming.   She is also the Secretary of a large social club in South Bristol and has been for over 15 years.

MAUREEN COOPER

Professional

Maureen joined in 2013 as an Accounts Senior after working since 1998, in industry as an Assistant Accountant for a large firm in South Wales.

Maureen’s duties include Bookkeeping, Accounts and payroll.

Personal

Outside of work, Maureen enjoys crafts, especially making handmade greetings cards.  She loves to read and walk and going on cruises.  She enjoys looking after her three granddaughters.

Tracey Vincent

Professional

Tracey joined in 2017 to provide job share secretarial duties with Bernie. Tracey will also be your first point of call for the company either in person or on the telephone.

Personal

Tracey is a half marathon distance runner. She enjoys live music, going to gigs and large music festivals. A keen football supporter who also volunteers for charitable organisations.

Kate Packer

Professional

Kate joined in 2018 as an account’s senior from another accountancy practice based in Bristol. Kate qualified as an Accounting Technician in 2000 and has continued to work in practice since then dealing with the self-employed, partnerships and SME’s.

Kate’s duties include accounts, VAT Returns and payroll.

Personal

Outside of work Kate enjoys reading, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Anna Magda

Professional

Anna joined in 2018 as an account’s semi-senior. She obtained a degree in administrative law in 2007. Anna’s legal background enables her to understand and analyse tax case law and updates in tax legislation. Anna qualified as an Accounting Technician in 2012 and is now studying for her Chartered Certified Accountancy qualification.

Anna’s duties include accounts, VAT and payroll.

Personal

Outside of work, Anna enjoys playing and composing electronic music. When she gets time off, she loves visiting the mountains, especially in the wintertime. Nothing better than snowboarding down the mountains with her favourite tunes in the ear. 

Mary Fuller

Professional

Mary’s duties include bookkeeping and preparing accounts.

Personal

Most of Mary’s time is taken up looking after her two active boys. She also enjoys socialising and is active in trying to increase awareness of environmental issues and administrates a local zero waste Facebook group. She is also involved in her children’s schools’ green team and the local cub’s group.
